Multi-Around Monitor System

Symptoms Check items Probable malfunction location
Screen is not switched to camera image, when camera switch is pressed and when shift position is shifted to the reverse position. "Multi Around Monitor" is not displayed on the system selection screen of M.U.T.-IIISE. Multi-around monitor control unit power supply circuit
Check that the following "DATA MONITOR" items operate normally using M.U.T.-III SE
  • "CAMERA SWITCH SIGNAL"
  • "REVERSE SIGNAL"
 "CAMERA SWITCH SIGNAL" and"REVERSE SIGNAL" are normal Multi-around monitor control unit
"CAMERA SWITCH SIGNAL" or"REVERSE SIGNAL" is not normal CAN communication
Screen is switched when pressing cameras witch or shifting selector lever to the reverse position, however, all views are not displayed. Only superimposing is displayed (only images that AV control unit plots are displayed). LVDS (between multi-around monitor control unit and each camera)
Superimposing is not displayed. AV control unit or LVDS (between multi-around monitor control unit and AV control unit)
The screen is not switched to the rear view image even if the selector is shifted to the reverse position. The front view is displayed normally. CAN communication (Reverse signal)
  • Front view screen is not displayed.
  • Front of top view screen is displayed.
 Check the following "DATA MONITOR" items using M.U.T.-III SE.
  • "F-CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL"
  • "F-CAMERA COMM STATUS"
  • "F-CAMERA COMM LINE"
 NG LVDS (between front camera and multi-around monitor control unit)
OK Front camera
  • The rear view screen is not displayed.
  • Rear of top view screen is not displayed.
 Check the following "DATA MONITOR" items using M.U.T.-III SE.
  • "REAR CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL"
  • "R-CAMERA COMM STATUS"
  • "R-CAMERA COMM LINE"
 NG LVDS (between rear camera and multi-around monitor control unit)
OK Rear camera
  • The side view screen is not displayed.
  • Left side of top view screen is not displayed.
 Check the following "DATA MONITOR" items using M.U.T.-III SE.
  • "Left camera image signal"
  • "Left camera comm status"
  • "Left camera line"
 NG LVDS (between side camera LH and multi-around monitor control unit)
OK Side camera LH
Right side of top view image is not displayed.
  • The side view screen is not displayed.
  • Right side of top view screen is not displayed.
 Check the following "DATA MONITOR" items using M.U.T.-III SE.
  • "Right camera image signal"
  • "Right camera comm status"
  • "Right camera line"
 NG LVDS (between side camera RH and multi-around monitor control unit)
OK Side camera RH
