G And Yaw Rate Sensor Calibration
CAUTION:
- Before performing calibration, check that the G and yaw rate sensor-related DTC is not set.
- If a DTC other than C1392, or C1393 is output to the ASC-ECU, check it according to each troubleshooting.
CAUTION:
When the ASC-ECU has been replaced, carry out the calibration to make ASC-ECU learn the neutral point of all sensor (steering wheel sensor, G and yaw rate sensor, and brake fluid pressure sensor).
NOTE:
"All sensor calibration" can perform calibration of G and yaw rate sensor, steering wheel sensor, and brake fluid pressure sensor collectively.
CAUTION:
Perform "Steering wheel sensor calibration", carry out the following two operations:
- Alignment adjustment <Front>
- Column switch assembly (integrated with steering wheel sensor) replacement, removal, installation
- Park the vehicle on a level surface.CAUTION: Before connecting or disconnecting the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
- Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position. Then connect the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) to the data link connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
- Select "ABS/ASC/ASTC/WSS."
- Select "Special function."
- Select "Sensor calibration."
- Select "G sensor calibration."
- Select "Lateral G sensor calibration."
- Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
- Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
- Check whether the DTC is set.
