The cruise control system control section in the PHEV-ECU calculates the target torque, based on the signals sent from switches and sensors. Based on that calculation, the cruise control system control section sends the target torque to the PHEV control section, and the cruise control ON/FF signal to the multi information display, respectively. The PHEV control section controls the motor and the engine according to the target torque signal received from the cruise control system control section and the switch input signals to controls the vehicle speed.
