Check Selector Lever Operation
- Shift the selector lever and check for excessive effort, sticking, noise or rattle.
- The selector lever automatically moves back to the H (home) position after it is operated.
(1): Electrical parking switch (2): Reverse interlock button :
Press the button (2) to shift :
Shift without pressing the button (2) - The selector lever cannot move to "R" position unless press the reverse interlock button.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Repair or replace the selector lever. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
