Fuel Pump

The ECCS control unit operates the electric fuel pump. When the ignition is turned to "ON" or "START" position, the fuel pump operates. If the ignition is on and no signal is received from the crank sensor 120° pick-up for more than 1 second, the fuel pump stops. It will operate for 5  seconds before the engine is cranked, and will then stop if the engine is not cranked over at 20 RPM or more.
