Ic Ignition Unit Ground Circuit Check
- Connect voltmeter negative lead to battery negative terminal. Connect positive lead to the connection points shown in Fig 1.
- Pull high tension wire from distributor cap and ground it. Turn ignition switch to "START" position and observe voltmeter reading while cranking engine.
- If voltage reads 0.5 volts or less, replace IC ignition unit. If voltage is more than 0.5 volts, check distributor ground wiring from chassis to battery, including battery connections.
