ISSUE & TIP

Check condition of the air intake bellows between the airflow meter and the throttle body On 1984-86 Nissan Stanzas and all 280 Z and 280 ZX fuel injected models. They often rot out and break in the flex creases. Symptoms are poor idle quality and bucking or surging on acceleration. This condition may be affected by driving the vehicle in reverse.
