Engine Compression

Check compression pressure with engine at normal operating temperature, all spark plugs removed, electrical lead to anti-dieseling solenoid disconnected, choke and throttle valves wide open and engine at cranking speed.

Crank engine at least 6 revolutions to determine engine compression. Lowest cylinder pressure should be at least 80% that of the highest cylinder pressure.
