Ignition Timing

Warm engine to normal operating temperature. Turn air conditioning off (if equipped). Place transmission in Neutral (Man. Trans.) or in "D" (Auto. Trans.). If equipped with power steering, keep wheels in straight ahead position. Adjust idle speed.
Turn engine off and disconnect throttle sensor harness connector. Connect timing light to engine. Loosen distributor hold-down bolt and turn distributor until specified ignition timing is obtained. Retighten distributor bolt.
