Air Injection Control Valve Solenoid
- Disconnect wiring harness and vacuum hoses from AIV control valve solenoid. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between solenoid terminals. Solenoid resistance value is 30-40 ohms.
- Apply 12-volts to solenoid terminals. See Fig 1
. Blow or suck through vacuum ports on solenoid valve. Ports "A" and "B" should be open. Remove power supply from solenoid valve terminals, ports "B" and "C" should be open. If not as specified, replace AIV control valve solenoid.
