Fuel Temperature Sensor (300ZX)

Faults in fuel temperature sensor circuit may set Code 42. To test system, see CODE 42 diagnostic procedures in TESTS W/CODES article.

To test sensor, disconnect sensor connector. Sensor is on top center of engine, left of centerline. Measure resistance between sensor connector terminal and ground. See FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE  table. If resistance is not as specified, replace sensor.
