Control Valve Lower Body: Inspection
Measure spring free length and outer diameter. Refer to the LOWER VALVE BODY SPRING IDENTIFICATION table. Also check for deformation or damage. Replace valve springs if deformed or fatigued. Check sliding surfaces of valves, sleeves and plugs.
