Trouble Shooting: Notes

NOTE: Perform appropriate diagnostic procedure before proceeding. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM . Repair according to self-diagnostic results obtained. If no self-diagnostic results are obtained, continue with trouble shooting based on symptom.

NOTE: If only some functions of transmitter are inoperative, check transmitter input signal using Nissan CONSULT scan tool in DATA MONITOR mode. If scan tool is not available, check input signal using Mode II (switch signal monitor). See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in MULTIPLEX CONTROL SYSTEMS article. Replace transmitter if necessary.
