Door Mirror Remote Control Switch Ground Circuit Inspection

  1. CHECK DOOR MIRROR REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect door mirror remote control switch.
    3. Check continuity between door mirror remote control switch connector M7 terminal 7 and ground.

      7 - Ground: Continuity should exist. 

    OK or NG 

    OK: GO TO 2.

    NG: Repair or replace harness.

  2. CHECK DOOR MIRROR REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH (CHANGEOVER SWITCH) 

    Check continuity between door mirror remote control switch terminals as follows.

    TERMINALS CONTINUITY REFERENCE

    Terminals Condition Continuity
    5 7 Changeover switch RIGHT position Yes
    Other than above No
    6 Changeover switch LEFT position Yes
    Other than above No

    OK or NG 

    OK: Check the condition of the harness and the connector.

    NG: Replace door mirror remote control switch.
