Front Shock Absorber With Coil Spring: Disposal

HINT:

Dispose of the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.

DISPOSE OF FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH
1. Fully extend the shock absorber piston rod.
2. Using a drill, make a hole in the cylinder between A and B as shown in the illustration to discharge the gas to discharge the gas inside the cylinder.

  CAUTION: Be careful when drilling because shreds of metal may fly about, so always use the proper safety equipment.
  
  NOTE: The gas is colorless, orderless and nonpoisonous.
