Removal and Installation: Removal

NOTE: If possible, before removing BCM, retrieve current BCM configuration to use for reference when configuring brand-new BCM after installation. Refer to "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING CONTROL UNIT (BCM): WORK PROCEDURE ".
  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. Remove the instrument lower panel LH. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  3. Remove the BCM screws and release the BCM.
  4. Disconnect the BCM connectors and then remove the BCM.
