DTC Confirmation Test

  1. Start engine and warm up to normal operating temperature. Turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds. Start engine and let it idle for at least 6 seconds. Turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds. Start engine and let it idle for at least 6 seconds. Select MODE 3 with scan tool.
  2. If DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
