Possible Causes

Malfunction is detected when:

1. High voltage from MAF sensor is sent to ECM under light load driving condition.
2. Low voltage from MAF sensor is sent to ECM under heavy load driving condition.

Possible causes are:

• MAF sensor circuit open or shorted.
• Defective MAF sensor.
• Intake air leaks (malfunction "B" only).
