CONSULT-II Setting Procedure

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2. Connect CONSULT-II and CONSULT-II CONVERTER to Data link connector, which is located in left side dash panel.

  3. Turn ignition switch ON.
  4. Touch "START (NISSAN BASED VHCL)".

  5. Touch "A/T". If "A/T" is not indicated, go to "CONSULT-II DATA LINK CONNECTOR (DLC) CIRCUIT ".

  6. Touch "DTC WORK SUPPORT".

  7. Touch select item menu (1ST, 2ND, etc.).

  8. Touch "START".

  9. Perform driving test according to "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" in "TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS FOR DTC".

    • When testing conditions are satisfied, CONSULT-II screen changes from "OUT OF CONDITION" to "TESTING".

  10. Stop vehicle. If "NG" appears on the screen, malfunction may exist. Go to "DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE".

  11. Perform test drive to check gear shift feeling in accordance with instructions displayed.

  12. Touch "YES" or "NO".

  13. CONSULT-II procedure ended.

    If "NG" appears on the screen, a malfunction may exist. Go to "DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE".
