Door Mirror LH Defogger Circuit Check

  1. CHECK DOOR MIRROR DEFOGGER POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect door mirror LH.
    3. Turn ignition switch ON.
    4. Check voltage between door mirror LH connector and ground.
    DOOR MIRROR LH CONNECTOR VOLTAGE

    Connector Terminal (Wire color) Condition Voltage (V)(Approx.)
    (+) (-)
    D13 6(L/B) Ground Rear window defogger switch ON Battery voltage
    Rear window defogger switch OFF 0

    OK or NG

    1. OK: GO TO 2.
    2. NG: Repair or replace harness.

  2. CHECK DOOR MIRROR DEFOGGER GROUND CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Check continuity between door mirror LH connector D13 terminal 5 and ground.
    1. 5 (B) - Ground: Continuity should exist. 

    OK or NG

    1. OK: GO TO 3.
    2. NG: Repair or replace harness.

  3. CHECK DOOR MIRROR DEFOGGER 
    1. Connect door mirror LH.
    2. Check continuity between door mirror LH connector D13 terminals 5 and 6.
    1. 6 (L/B) - 5 (B): Continuity should exist. 

    OK or NG

    1. OK: Repair or replace harness.
    2. NG: Replace door mirror LH.
