Removal and Installation: Removal

- Remove engine undercover.
- Drain engine coolant. Refer to
"CHANGING ENGINE COOLANT ".CAUTION: Perform when engine is cold.
- Remove air duct (inlet) and radiator cover grills. Refer to "AIR CLEANER AND AIR DUCT ".
- Disconnect CVT fluid cooler hoses.
- Install plug to avoid leakage of CVT fluid.
- Remove reservoir tank and bracket.
- Disconnect radiator hoses (upper and lower).
- Remove battery and battery tray, and move fuse and fusible link block aside. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- Remove radiator cooling fan assembly.
- Remove radiator upper clips by pulling the tabs outside to release the lock.
Do not pull the tabs outside excessively to prevent it from damaging.
- Remove mounting rubbers from mounting pins on radiator.
- Lift up and remove radiator.
CAUTION:
Do not damage or scratch air conditioner condenser and radiator core when removing.
