Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check for Display Unit

  1. CHECK FUSE 

    Check if the following fuses for display unit are blown.

    DISPLAY UNIT CHART

    Unit Power souse Fuse No.
    Display unit Battery power 3
    Ignition switch ACC or ON 6
    Ignition switch ON or START 12

    OK or NG

    1. OK: GO TO 2.
    2. NG: If fuse is blown be sure to eliminate case of malfunction before installing new fuse. Refer to POWER SUPPLY ROUTING CIRCUIT .
  2. CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 
    1. Disconnect display unit connector.
    2. Check voltage between display unit connector and ground.

    3(G) Ground OV OV Battery voltage

    OK or NG

    1. OK: GO TO 3.
    2. NG: Check harness for open or short between display and fuse.
  3. CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT 

    Check continuity between display unit harness connector M93 terminal 6 (B) and ground.

    Continuity should exist. 

    OK or NG

    1. OK: INSPECTION END.
    2. NG: Repair ground harness.
