Removal and Installation-Instrument Panel: Removal

CAUTION:
Before servicing, turn the ignition switch off, disconnect both battery terminals, then wait at least 3 minutes.
- Disconnect both the negative and positive battery terminals, then wait at least three minutes.
- Remove front pillar upper finishers. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- Remove the center console. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- Remove the combination meter. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- Remove audio unit. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (TYPE 2) " or "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (TYPE 1) " (Base audio), or "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION " (Premium audio).
- Remove cluster lid D. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- Remove the front passenger air bag module. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- Remove the instrument stay RH/LH bolts.
- Disconnect all remaining harnesses and electrical connectors.
- Remove instrument panel and pad assembly.
