Check Door Switch/With Navigation System

First perform SELF-DIAG RESULTS in BCM with CONSULT-II, when performing each trouble diagnosis. Refer to CAN COMMUNICATION INSPECTION USING CONSULT-II (SELF-DIAGNOSIS) .
- Check door switch input signal

Check voltage between combination meter connector and ground.

OK or NG
- OK: Door switch circuit is OK.
- NG: GO TO 2 .
- Check door switch
.
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect door switch and combination meter connector.
- Check continuity between door switch connector B17, B23, B20, B32 terminals 1 and combination meter connector M19 terminals 7, 6, 9, 8.

- Front door switch driver side
- 1 (W) - 7 (W): Continuity should exist
- Front door switch passenger side
- 1 (P) - 6 (P): Continuity should exist
- Rear door switch LH
- 1 (P) - 9 (P): Continuity should exist
- Rear door switch RH
- 1 (P) - 8 (P): Continuity should exist
- Check continuity between door switch connector B17, B23, B20, B32 terminals 1 and ground.
- 1 (W or P) - Ground: Continuity should not exist
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 3 .
- NG: Repair or replace harness.
- Check door switch

Check continuity between each door switch terminal 1 and body ground part of door switch.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 4 .
- NG: Replace door switch.
- Check combination meter output signal

- Connect combination meter connector.
- Check voltage between combination meter connector M19 terminals 6, 7, 8, 9 and ground.
- 6 (P) - Ground: Battery voltage
- 7 (W) - Ground: Battery voltage
- 8 (P) - Ground: Battery voltage
- 9 (P) - Ground: Battery voltage
OK or NG
- OK: Check harness connection.
- NG: Replace combination meter.
