Hazard Warning Signal Switch

  1. Check that there is continuity between terminals at each switch position. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  and INSPECTING HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH CONTINUITY  table. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch.
  2. Inspect the illumination operation. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal No. 8 and the negative (-) lead to terminal No. 9, then check that the illumination lights up.
