- Confirm the trouble symptom or customer complaint.
- Understand the system description, see DESCRIPTION & OPERATION .
- For headlight and turn signal switches perform COMBINATION SWITCH INSPECTION ACCORDING TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS in BODY CONTROL MODULE - ALTIMA article. For wiper/washer switch perform preliminary inspection, see PRELIMINARY INSPECTION (WIPER/WASHER) .
- According to trouble diagnosis, repair or replace the cause of the malfunction. See TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS .
- If the headlight, turn signal and wiper functions operate normally, go to next step. If they do not operate normally go back to step 4.
- End.
