Rear Stabilizer Bar: Installation

  1. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BAR 
    1. Install the 2 stabilizer bushes to the stabilizer bar.

      HINT:

      • Install the stabilizer bush to the outer side of the stopper ring on the stabilizer bar.
      • Install the stabilizer bush with the protrusion facing towards the inside of the vehicle.

    2. Install the stabilizer bar and 2 No. 3 stabilizer bar brackets with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque: 35 N*m (357 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf)

  2. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the stabilizer link LH with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 44 N*m (49 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf) 

      HINT:

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 5 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud.

  3. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  4. INSTALL REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT 
    1. Inspect and ADJUST  the REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT  .
