Air Conditioning Unit: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER UNIT DRAIN HOSE 
    1. Remove the cooler unit drain hose.

  2. REMOVE AIR DUCT 
    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the air duct.

  3. REMOVE AIR OUTLET CONTROL SERVO MOTOR 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and air outlet control servo motor.

  4. REMOVE AIR MIX CONTROL SERVO MOTOR 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and air mix control servo motor.

  5. REMOVE HEATER PIPING COVER 
    1. Detach the 3 claws and remove the heater piping cover.

  6. REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR UNIT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the 3 claws and remove the clamp.

    2. Remove the heater radiator unit.

  7. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING TUBE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.
    2. Detach the claw and remove the cover.

    3. Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts and air conditioning tube.

    4. Remove the 2 O-rings from the air conditioning tube.

  8. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE 
    1. Remove the cooler expansion valve from the cooler evaporator.

  9. REMOVE EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and plate.

    2. Remove the 7 screws, cooler evaporator and evaporator temperature sensor.

    3. Remove the evaporator temperature sensor from the cooler evaporator.

  10. REMOVE EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 O-rings from the cooler evaporator.
