INSPECT AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Disconnect the A8 ambient temperature sensor connector.

Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the A/C ambient temperature sensor at each temperature, as shown in the table below.

NOTE:

Even slightly touching the sensor may change the resistance value. Be sure to hold the connector of the sensor.
When measuring, the sensor temperature must be almost the same as the ambient temperature.

HINT:

As the temperature increases, the resistance decreases (see the graph). If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the sensor.
