Section 306 (Front Suspension): Description

G35 uses a MacPherson strut-type front suspension system. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . Strut assembly consists of a shock absorber and coil spring. Upper end of strut is bolted to body of vehicle. Lower end of strut is bolted to transverse link. Steering knuckle is attached to transverse link and upper link by a ball joint.
