Removal And Installation

- Remove lower instrument panel LH. Refer to LOWER DRIVER INSTRUMENT PANEL .
- Remove glove box assembly.
- Remove shift knob and A/T console finisher. Refer to A/T CONSOLE FINISHER .
- Disconnect harness from bottom of A/T console finisher.
- Remove shift assembly. Refer to SHIFT CONTROL SYSTEM
.
- Disconnect harness and shift cable.
- Remove center console and disconnect harness.
- Remove cluster lid C and disconnect harness.
- Remove cluster lid D and disconnect harness.
- Remove display assembly and the audio unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF DISPLAY UNIT and REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION FOR AUDIO UNIT .
- Remove combination meter cover.
- Remove cluster lid A and disconnect harness.
- Remove combination meter and disconnect harness.
- Remove lower knee protector LH.
- Remove defrost grille and disconnect optical sensor harness.
- Remove side ventilator assembly LH.
- Remove side ventilator assembly RH.
- Remove instrument panel.
- Remove passenger air bag nuts and remove air bag. See PASSENGER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE .
- Disconnect GPS antenna.
- Disconnect harnesses to instrument panel speakers LH and RH and remove speakers.
- Disconnect all remaining harnesses.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
