Removal And Installation

  1. Remove lower instrument panel LH. Refer to LOWER DRIVER INSTRUMENT PANEL .
  2. Remove glove box assembly.
  3. Remove shift knob and A/T console finisher. Refer to A/T CONSOLE FINISHER .
    • Disconnect harness from bottom of A/T console finisher.
  4. Remove shift assembly. Refer to SHIFT CONTROL SYSTEM .
    • Disconnect harness and shift cable.
  5. Remove center console and disconnect harness.
  6. Remove cluster lid C and disconnect harness.
  7. Remove cluster lid D and disconnect harness.
  8. Remove display assembly and the audio unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF DISPLAY UNIT and REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION FOR AUDIO UNIT .
  9. Remove combination meter cover.
  10. Remove cluster lid A and disconnect harness.
  11. Remove combination meter and disconnect harness.
  12. Remove lower knee protector LH.
  13. Remove defrost grille and disconnect optical sensor harness.
  14. Remove side ventilator assembly LH.
  15. Remove side ventilator assembly RH.
  16. Remove instrument panel.
    • Remove passenger air bag nuts and remove air bag. See PASSENGER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE .
    • Disconnect GPS antenna.
    • Disconnect harnesses to instrument panel speakers LH and RH and remove speakers.
    • Disconnect all remaining harnesses.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
