PROBLEM SYMPTOM TABLE - POWER WINDOW SYSTEM

Symptom	Diagnoses/service procedure
None of the power windows can be operated using any switch.	1. BCM power supply and ground circuit check.
	2. Power window switch power supply circuit check.
	3. Power window serial link check.
	4. Replace the BCM
Driver side power window cannot be operated	1. Driver side power window motor circuit check
Driver side power window cannot be operated	2. Replace the power window main switch
Passenger side power window cannot be operated.	1. Power window sub-switch power supply circuit and ground check.
	2. Power window serial link check.
	3. Passenger side power window motor circuit check.
	4. Replace the BCM
Anti-pinch system does not operate normally (driver side).	1. Door window sliding part malfunction A foreign material adheres to window glass or grass run rubber. Glass run rubber wear or deformation. Sash is tilted too much, or not enough.
	2. Limit switch adjusting.
	3. Limit switch circuit check (driver side).
	4. Encoder circuit check (driver side).
Anti-pinch system does not operate normally (passenger side)	1. Door window sliding part malfunction A foreign material adheres to window glass or grass run rubber. Glass run rubber wear or deformation. Sash is tilted too much, or not enough.
	2. Limit switch adjusting.
	3. Limit switch circuit check (passenger side).
	4. Encoder circuit check (passenger side).
Power window retained power operation does not operate properly.	1. Check the retained power operation mode setting.
	2. Door switch check.
	3. Replace the BCM.
Automatic window adjusting function does not operate.	1. Door switch check.
	2. Limit switch adjusting.
	3. Limit switch circuit check (driver side)

	4. Power window serial link check.
	5. Replace the BCM
Power window does not operate by the key cylinder switch.	1. Door key cylinder switch check.
