Current Codes Using CONSULT Tester

- Connect CONSULT tester to Data Link Connector (DLC) located below fuse block under left side of instrument panel. See Fig 1 . Turn ignition on. Touch START on CONSULT tester. Touch AIR BAG. Touch SELF-DIAG (CURRENT).
- If any problems are present, message will be displayed in SELF-DIAG (CURRENT) mode. Compare displayed codes to present fault messages. Go to PRESENT FAULT MESSAGES . Touch PRINT. Touch BACK until SELECT SYSTEM appears. Turn ignition off. Turn off CONSULT. Disconnect CONSULT from DLC. Disconnect both battery cables. After repair is completed, codes must be cleared.
