WARNING:
Components are very hot after deployment. Personal injury may result. Wait at least 30 minutes before handling air bag module and 10 minutes before handling a seat belt pretensioner
NOTE:
If vehicle is not to be removed from service, air bag modules and seat belt pretensioners must be removed from vehicle before deployment. Failure to do so will cause damage to interior of vehicle.
Before using Air Bag Deployment Tool (J38381), ensure tool is functioning properly. See DEPLOYMENT TOOL CHECK .
