Diagnostic Procedure

SYMPTOM: Sunload sensor circuit is open or shorted. (25 or -25) is indicated on auto amp. as a result of conducting Self-diagnosis STEP 2.)
- CHECK SUNLOAD SENSOR CIRCUIT BETWEEN SUNLOAD SENSOR AND BODY GROUND
Disconnect sunload sensor harness connector.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 2.
- NG: GO TO 4.
- CHECK SUNLOAD SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT BETWEEN SUNLOAD SENSOR AND AUTO AMP. (LCU)
Disconnect auto amp. (LCU) harness connector.
If OK, check harness for short.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 3.
- NG: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK SUNLOAD SENSOR
Refer to SUNLOAD SENSOR .
OK or NG
- OK:
- Replace auto amp. (LCU).
- Go to self-diagnosis step-by-step procedure (Refer to SELF-DIAGNOSIS) and perform self-diagnosis STEP 2. Confirm that code No. 20 is displayed.
- NG:
- Replace sunload sensor.
- Go to self-diagnosis step-by-step procedure (Refer to SELF-DIAGNOSIS) and perform self-diagnosis STEP 2. Confirm that code No. 20 is displayed.
- OK:
- CHECK SUNLOAD SENSOR CIRCUIT BETWEEN SUNLOAD SENSOR AND AUTO AMP. (LCU)
Disconnect auto amp. (LCU) harness connector.
If OK, check harness for short.
OK or NG
- OK:
- Replace auto amp.
- Go to self-diagnosis step-by-step procedure (Refer to SELF-DIAGNOSIS) and perform Self-Diagnosis STEP 2. Confirm that code No. 20 is displayed.
- NG: Repair harness or connector.
- OK:
