DTC Confirmation Procedure: Notes

NOTE:

If DTC P0442 is displayed with P1448, perform trouble diagnosis for DTC P1448 first. (See DTC P1448 EVAP CANISTER VENT CONTROL VALVE .)
If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 5 seconds before conducting the next test.

TESTING CONDITION:

Perform DTC WORK SUPPORT when the fuel level is between 1/4 to 3/4 full and vehicle is placed on flat level surface.
Open engine hood before conducting the following procedure.
