Disassembly And Assembly: Assembly

Assembly is in the reverse order of disassembly, noting the following instructions.

• Install new O-rings and make sure they are properly installed.
• Install new oil seal using a drift, and make sure oil seal direction is as shown in the illustration.
• Cam ring, rotor and vanes must be replaced as a set if necessary.
• Coat each part with Genuine NISSAN PSF when assembling.

• Pay attention to the direction of rotor.

• When assembling vanes to rotor, rounded surfaces of vanes must face cam ring side.

• Insert pin 2 into pin groove 1 of front housing and front side plate. Then install cam ring 3 as shown in the illustration.

  Cam ring : D1 is less than D2
