Removal and Installation: Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

• Tighten the transverse link mounting bolts to specified torque. Refer to , "COMPONENTS ". During installation, the final tightening must be done with the vehicle in unladen* condition and the tires on the ground.

  *: Fuel, engine coolant and engine oil full. Spare tire, jack, hand tools and mats in designated positions.

  CAUTION: Discard the old cotter pin and use a new cotter pin for installation of the lower ball joint nut.
• Install wheel and tire. Refer to , "ROTATION ".
• After installation, check the wheel alignment. Refer to , "FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT ".
