Removal and Installation: Notes

CAUTION: Replace the opera window glass assembly with a new part after removal as it cannot be reused.

REMOVAL

Remove front fender assembly. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
Remove front pillar garnish. Refer to "FRONT PILLAR GARNISH: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
Remove the opera window glass using piano wire or power cutting tool and an inflatable pump bag.
WARNING: Always wear safety glasses and heavy gloves to help prevent injuries.
CAUTION:
- Never set or stand the glass on its edge. Small chips may develop into cracks.
- Apply protective tape around the opera window glass to protect the painted surface from damage.
