CONSULT Function

APPLICATION ITEM

CONSULT performs the following functions.

Diagnosis mode	Description
Data Monitor	Displays the real-time input signal of occupant detection system control unit.
Work support	This mode enables a technician to adjust some devices faster and more accurately by following the indications on the CONSULT.

The following table includes information (items) inapplicable to this vehicle. For information (items) applicable to this vehicle, refer to CONSULT display items.

Monitor Item	Contents
Buckle switch status	The switch status input from seat belt buckle switch (passenger side). Not monitored: Seat belt buckle switch (passenger side) is not monitored. Unfastened: Seat belt buckle switch (passenger side) is unfasten. Fastened: Seat belt buckle switch (passenger side) is fasten. Reload: The seat belt buckle switch (passenger side) state is loading.
Buckle switch spec	Displays the spec of the seat belt buckle switch (passenger side). Not monitored: seat belt buckle switch (passenger side) is not monitored. Normally open: seat belt buckle switch (passenger side) is normal open type. Normally close: seat belt buckle switch (passenger side) is normal close type. From air bag diagnosis sensor unit: Occupant detection system control unit receives seat belt buckle switch (passenger side) signal from air bag diagnosis sensor unit.
Buckle switch status (communication)	Displays the status of the seat belt buckle switch (passenger side) signal. Not monitored: seat belt buckle switch (passenger side) is not monitored. Monitor (wiring): The switch status input from seat belt buckle switch (passenger side). From air bag diagnosis sensor unit: The switch status input from air bag diagnosis sensor unit.
