Removal and Installation

CAUTION:

Perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING ECM". Refer to Description .
When replacing the ECM, a new ECM must be used. The functions controlled by the ECM do not operate properly if an ECM from another vehicle is used.

REMOVAL

Remove negative battery terminal. Refer to Exploded View .
Disconnect the harness connectors from ECM.
Remove nuts (A), and then remove ECM (1).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
