Amplifier & Temperature Dial Test

  1. This test uses the setup and connections of Step 3 of Tester Instructions. Disconnect both wires from amplifier. Voltage should go to 8 or 9 volts minimum and should go to zero when connecting the two terminals on amplifier together with a jumper wire or screwdriver.
  2. If voltage is as indicated in Step 1, replace temperature dial and rheostat assembly. If voltage did not change in Step 1, replace amplifier.
