Intake Manifold: Installation
Make sure gasket surfaces on manifold and cylinder heads are clean. Apply sealer to both sides of new gaskets and position gaskets on cylinder heads. Carefully install intake manifold. Coat threads of manifold bolts with motor oil, install in manifold and tighten to 15 ft. lbs. in sequence shown in illustration. Retighten to 40 ft. lbs. in sequence shown in illustration. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
