System Check (Normal Operation Checks)

  1. With ignition switch in OFF or LOCK position, press DOOR button on transmitter; all doors should lock and theft deterrent system should arm. Press UNLOCK button on transmitter and driver's door should unlock and theft deterrent system should disarm. Press UNLOCK button again and remaining 3 doors should unlock.
  2. Press luggage compartment lid release button on transmitter; luggage compartment lid should release. With ignition switch in RUN position and all doors closed, move gear selector lever to all positions except PARK and all doors should lock. Move gear selector lever to PARK and all doors should unlock.
  3. With driver's door open, move gear selector lever to all positions except PARK. Repeat action with each door, one at a time, and all doors should remain unlocked.
