Voltmeter Test

  1. Enter diagnostics and check for BCM codes B411 and B412. See appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. If code(s) are not set, go to next step. If code(s) are set, perform appropriate diagnostic procedure.
  2. Check instrument cluster connector terminal contact for poor connection and repair as necessary. If only one gauge does not operate, a malfunctioning BCM/PCM or related sensor is probably the cause. If more than one gauge does not operate, replace instrument cluster.
