Test Q: Seat Reclining Functions Operate In One Direction Only

  1. Measure the voltage at the connected suspect Recliner Switch Connector.
  2. Check for battery voltage between Recliner Switch Connector terminals A (ORN/BLK) and E (BLK). See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If the voltage is not as specified, repair the BLK (151, 152 or 154) wires.
  3. Check for battery voltage between Recliner Switch Connector terminals A (ORN/BLK) and B (BLK). If the voltage is not as specified, repair the BLK (151, 152 or 154) wires.
  4. If all of the voltages are as specified, replace the Recliner Switch. See SEAT SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
