Window Regulator: Removal

  1. Remove door trim panel. See TRIM PANEL .
  2. Remove armrest bracket.
  3. Remove water deflector. See WATER DEFLECTOR .
  4. Raise the window to the closed position, and secure the glass to the door frame using cloth backed tape. Remove rivets securing the regulator to the door inner panel.
  5. Remove regulator lift arm roller from the window mount sash (29). See Fig 1.
  6. Remove regulator (28) from the door.
