One Mirror Does Not Operate In Up/Down Or Left/Right Position
- If left mirror does not operate, place mirror select switch in left position. Using a test light, backprobe mirror control switch connected connector, between terminals "C" and "D". See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Toggle mirror position switch to up position, and go to step 3).
- If right mirror does not operate, place mirror select switch in right position. Using a test light, backprobe mirror control switch connected connector, between terminals "E" and "F". See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Toggle mirror position switch to up position, and go to next step.
- If test light does not come on, check mirror control switch connector. If connector is okay, replace mirror control switch. If test light comes on, backprobe suspect outside mirror connector between terminals "C" and "D". See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Toggle mirror position switch to up position. If test light does not come on, go to next step. If test light comes on, check suspect outside mirror connector. If connector is okay, replace suspect outside mirror drive unit.
- If test light does not come on, repair open in circuit between suspect outside mirror connector terminal "A" and mirror control switch connector terminal "C" on left mirror and terminal "F" on right mirror.
