Preliminary Inspection
- Check I/P fuse No. 1 of right rear Power Distribution Center (PDC), located under left side of rear passenger seat. If fuse is open, locate and repair short in Orange wire circuit. Replace fuse.
- Check all related wiring harnesses and connectors. Check for poor ground connection at ground connector, located under left side of rear passenger seat.
- Check for proper operation and installation of aftermarket equipment, (if equipped), which may affect other systems.
- Perform functional test of door locks, power door lock switches, Random Access Power (RAP), trunk lid and interior lamp illumination. If problems exist in any of these systems, repair as necessary.
- Perform functional test of all Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter functions. If RKE transmitter does not operate or operate a function depressed, go to appropriate symptom test.
