Lower Section

Remove bottom oil pan, oil filter, accumulator cover with 2-1 servo feed and return pipes. Remove modulator and modulator valve. See Fig 1 . Check modulator with known good modulator and Tester (36619). If necessary, replace modulator. Remove all retainers, gaskets, pipes, 2-1 manual servo assembly and accumulator piston assemblies from bores. Accumulator springs are transaxle model specific. DO NOT  interchange springs. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .
